Presenter IK Osakioduwa made a roaring return to the Big Brother Africa Live Show on two wheels and clad in a sexy biker outfit. Video Vixen Beverly Osu is representing Nigeria in Big Brother Africa. Beverly originates from Delta State and says she wants to change the face of Nigerian Entertainment to a more confident zone for up-and-coming models. While Melvin Oduah was twice the first runner-up of Mr Nigeria and Gulder Ultimate search. The 28-year-old model is also an actor. Beverly and Melvin are representing Nigeria in Big Brother Africa 2013. In all,28 housemates from 14 African countries are competing for $300,000. Story culled from  Punch The Lagos State Police Command has arrested five men for allegedly exhuming corpses and selling their parts for ritual purposes. According to police authorities, the suspects –, Jamiu Adeleke, Ajibade Rafiu, Fatai Akiwowo, Kazeem Sanni and Agboola Kolawole – had at different times sold human parts in Owode, Ogun State.

A 62 year old retired vice-principal has been arrested by the Imo state police for allegedly killing his mother and hiding her corpse in his house since 2003. Dr. Chimezie Osuigwe was arrested after the embalmed body of his mother was discovered hidden in a cupboard in his house yesterday Monday April 14th by another family member.  Police say the body of the woman, Lucy Osuigwe, who was declared missing in 2003, 'was found i n a large cupboard inside a shrine in a private room in a circumstance depicting ritual practice.' The police believe the retired educationist and devotee of the Guru Maharaji sect, killed his mother for ritual purposes. Dr. Chimezie Osuigwe is being held for first degree murder.

More than 2,000 Nigerians living in border villages in Borno State have reportedly fled as a result of the ongoing military operations targeted at routing insurgents from the area under the emergency rule. The fleeing villagers were said to have headed to the neighbouring Niger Republic. “Most of the residents of border villages of Borno have fled to Niger. About 2,000 people from Abadan, Malam Fatori and other villages are now refugees in Difa, Niger Republic,” a top security officer told one of our correspondents on Sunday. The source said that the Joint Military Task Force was on the trail of members of the Boko Haram sect, who were dislodged from the Sambisa Game Reserve and other camps on Thursday in Borno State. It was learnt that residents of Maiduguri and other communities far from the border, who did not want to be caught in the cross-fire had also fled to some neighbouring states, including Kano and Bau. According to a story in Encomium magazine, the family of former Liberian president and war crimes prisoner, Charles Taylor, have been ejected from their N2.5million per year rented mansion in Diamond Hills in Calabar, Cross Rivers state. The family he left behind in Calabar as he faced criminal charges in The Hague were ejected because they were unable to per their rent. The house belongs to Dr. Joseph Wayas, the Second Republic Senate President. His wife and kids, who have since been abandoned by the former president's friends and business associates, now live in a small flat at the state housing estate along Murtala Mohammed highway in Calabar. No aides, no cruising of luxury cars, no partying, no money to spend lavishly. That's their new life now.

A great game of two completely different half’s saw the mighty gunners demolish Wigan and knock them out of the premiership and down to the championship next season. Two goals from Lukas Podolski and one each from Aaron Ramsey and Theo Walcott saw us win 4-1 on the night and moves us back into the 4th and final Champions League spot going into the last game of the season. Going into the game, nerves were jangling and tensions were high but we managed to hold our nerve and get the all important three points.
